Friends of Community Media is a non-profit corporation serving the Kansas City area devoted to citizen participation in the media. FCM encourages media to be responsive to the community and promotes diverse racial, ethnic, gender, and minority group participation in all media. FCM also promotes programming and media coverage which is often under-covered or ignored and supports democratization and diversity in the media.
